ℹ️ Caleta de Fuste

The pleasant seaside resort of El Castillo Caleta de Fuste is only 10 kilometers from the airport. In the heart of Fuerteventura's east coast, Caleta de Fuste is a lively beach destination that stretches into a sheltered bay.

The beach is known for its fine golden white sand and calm turquoise waters, perfect for families and beginners in water sports.

El Castillo & La Guirra beaches

Just 2 km south of our apartments are two large beaches, which most people walk to via the Paseo. Both are large family beaches with various facilities and activities on the beach:

Shops Restaurants Leisure "El Castillo"

For visitors who like to shop, there are both shopping centers and shopping streets. Antigua's local shops blend beautifully with the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere of El Castillo. It is wonderful to relax on the beaches with sunbeds and thatched parasols.

Costa de Antigua

Costa de Antigua, the quiet area of Caleta de Fuste. Costa de Antigua is mainly home to many residents and many people have a second home that is used as a holiday and winter residence. Its good accessibility, including public transport, makes it a popular place. However, the most important thing is the relative peace that prevails.

Daily Shopping

In Costa de Antigua, there are a few small supermarkets (cornershpps) where you can buy fresh bread rolls daily, as well as pick up essential groceries upon arrival. The distance to the apartments is approximately 400 meters.

ATMs: You can find ATMs at Hotel Globalis Costa Tropical and the B&B supermarket.

The supermarkets Mercadona and Lidl are located about 1 km from our apartments, in the industrial area of Costa de Antigua. (The industrial area is easily accessible on foot via the unpaved road.)

Bus lines 3 and 16 stop at the industrial area.
Eurospar Padilla (CC Atlantico Supermarket) is open 7 days a week, including on holidays, and is also accessible by bus lines 3 and 16.

Weekly Shopping

Paseo Av. Maritima

Whether you're simply looking for a relaxing walk or are an avid runner, you'll find a well-designed and well-maintained paseo near our apartments. This path stretches from Salinas del Carmen, through El Castillo, to Costa de Antigua.

The Paseo is an exceptionally beautiful and varied route for walking and running, which can be enjoyed in the cooler mornings and evenings. The total length is 7 km.

Public Transport

Buses run regularly between El Castillo, Costa de Antigua, the Airport, and the Puerto del Rosario bus station (every half hour). They also pass by the major supermarkets.
